MBR-13 Revamp WIP by ScrewfaceRomeo MBR-13 Revamp WIP by ScrewfaceRomeo
Well, here it is, after nearly four days of bleary eyes and mouse burn, I give you:

THE MODULAR BULLPUP RIFLE, 2013, RE-VAMP!

Sure, it's only a WIP for now, and the magazine file is on my work computer, but I felt the need to post SOMETHING. Expect a lot more of these to come, just like last time.

Here's something I'll note for you.

The front and rear sights don't line of properly. Not with the MBUS fully erected. You need to modify the front sight post to coincide with the MBUS and EoTech, because you can't lower the main body of the rifle. Unless you make such modification, you won't get any proper sight alignment, nor will you get any co-witness with the current holographic.

Other than that? This is a great looking rifle, and I congratulate you. But, the M-16 posting won't work. I don't think anything will work, modification wise. You'll either need to modify the whole forward end of that rail to allow for the fore Magpul sight, or just remove the M-16 sight and add the Magpul to the current rail (though I think that might present the problem of the sights being too close, which will mean that said rifle won't have the range necessary to meet rifle standards.)

Holler at me if you'd like anymore advice. Great work. Keep it up.

Well, I had a sneaking suspicion about that, so I went and fetched out my Airsoft AR-lookalike with the MBUS/M16 post setup. Turns out that A. the MBUS on the MBR is a bit too big and B. The M16 post on the MBR is a bit too small. Once I adjust the scale, and redo the EOTech (which I'm still not satisfied is correctly scaled or even drawn either) it should line up well enough. Hopefully. Otherwise, I'll just lower the top cover slightly, or find some other way, because AR sight cross-comparability is one of the selling points of this design.

That's the thing though. You can't technically lower the cover without throwing the balance of the current lines off. The rear sights actually look proper, all things said and done. It's just working the front sight.

Ok, I went at it again today, enlarged the front sight to scale, slightly raised the barrel, and placed the EO correctly on the rail. It now works, but I had to leave the office before I could export the bastard to PNG.
