First introduced in 2015 and still in use nearly 85 years later, the SRT-2000 is quite possible the best long range tack-driver in the world. Manufactured by Castle Arms and chambered in the venerable .338 Lapua Magnum, the SRT-2000 is guaranteed accurate out to 1500 meters in the hands of a human sniper, although female Sh'ari have managed to document kills at 2500+ meters.
Looks like a MSR, but better
Who are the Sh'ari?
An alien race of my own invention.
I really like the look, I can see some 98b ques in this one.
Yup, that and the XM2011 were my main inspirations.
This is really sick man.I love the design, great job.
Excellent. I usually prefer bolt-actions over semi-autos.
Both have their purposes: If I want a DMR or close support rifle for suppression or counter-sniper fire, Semi-auto is the way to go (preferably an AR-10 with a piston kit). If I want to drive tacks, bolt all the way.
Sweet Zombie Jeebus! This is by far my favorite work from you. .338 is just the universal pinnacle of badassery. You can use it to achieve the awesome look of not too big and bulky, and still use a kickass round, well done.
nice and slick
